Purpose:
Evaluates essential nutrients for red blood cell production, neurological function, and bone health. Includes Vitamin D (bone), B12 and folate (anemia and neurological health), and iron studies. Deficiencies are common in malabsorption or restrictive diets.
Reference Range:
Vitamin D (25-OH): 30–100 ng/mL (optimal); B12: 200–900 pg/mL; Folate: >5.9 ng/mL; Iron: 50–170 µg/dL; Ferritin: 15–200 ng/mL (F), 30–300 ng/mL (M). Deficiencies correlate with fatigue and anemia.
